We seek an Internal Wholesaler for our broker/dealer group in our midtown Manhattan headquarters. The candidate will work closely with their regional external wholesaler to increase sales of open-end and closed-end mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in sales and effectiveness working as a member of a team.
Other Responsibilities:
* Set up sales meetings and provide support and follow-up for the external wholesaler.
* Initiate out-bound phone calls, email and mailings to financial advisors to increase sales.
* Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors and update database.
* Answer in-bound calls about our full range of products.
* Attend industry conferences representing Cohen & Steers.
* Travel and present to Broker/Dealer offices when appropriate.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree
* Current Series 7 and 63 securities registration.
* Minimum two years full-time employment with a financial services company specializing in mutual funds.
* Proven selling and relationship building skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft office.
