Cohen & Steers REIT and Preferred and Income Fund, Inc. (RNP) Declares Special Distribution
NEW YORK, September 26, 2022—The Board of Directors of the Cohen & Steers REIT and
Preferred and Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: RNP) (the “Fund”) has declared a special distribution,
as summarized in the chart below. In addition to the regular monthly dividend, this special
distribution distributes all remaining income and realized capital gains from the Fund’s prior
year and is required for Federal income tax purposes to maintain its status as a regulated
investment company. The total distribution will be taxable to shareholders in 2022.
