Ji, welcome to What’s the Fund.
It’s great to have you here. Thank you for having me.
So tell me, what’s the fund you’re talking about today?
So we’re here today to talk about the Cohen and Steers Real Estate ETF or CSRE.
Okay. So tell me about this fund. What’s the strategy?
So the fund is designed to access a broad universe of listed real estate securities.
We invest in high conviction ideas in US REITs while opportunistically invest internationally and in other real estate related securities.
The goal of the fund is to offer total return and portfolio diversification.
We employ active management to fully leverage the opportunities from wide dispersion of returns across seventeen real estate subsectors and a dozen geographies.
We believe today is a compelling opportunity to invest in listed real estate as we believe we’re entering a period of strong fundamentals supported by steady demand and very, very low supply. REITs are trading at historical discounts relative to equities, and in my experience, REITs typically outperform falling periods of, discount of this magnitude.
Okay.
So tell our viewers, where should they go to learn more about this fund?
They should go to cohenandsteers.com/ETFs.
Ji, wonderful to have you on What’s the Fund?

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
Risks of investing in real estate securities are similar to those associated with direct investments in real estate, including falling property values due to increasing vacancies or declining rents resulting from economic, legal, political or technological developments, lack of liquidity, limited diversification and sensitivity to certain economic factors such as interest rate changes and market recessions.
Foreign securities involve special risks, including currency fluctuations, lower liquidity, political and economic uncertainties, and differences in accounting standards. Some international securities may represent small- and medium-sized companies, which may be more susceptible to price volatility and less liquidity than larger companies.
There can be no assurance that the investment strategy will meet its investment objectives. Diversification is not guaranteed to ensure a profit or protect against loss.
