Our employees actively partner with numerous and varied charitable organizations aligned with our employee’s passions and the communities they choose to support ranging from feeding the hungry to cleaning city parks to mentoring disadvantaged youth.

COVID-19 Global Giving Campaign

With guidance from our Volunteer Team, we successfully worked with our offices around the world to donate funds to support doctors, nurses and patients during this unprecedented time.

In the U.S.

Cohen & Steers partnered with NYC Health + Hospitals, the nation’s largest municipal health care delivery system, to support its committed workforce as well as New York City’s most vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cohen & Steers partners with City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization, to hold a company-wide drive to collect food and funds to those less fortunate during the holiday season.

Cohen & Steers participates in the innovative Cristo Rey Corporate High School Work Study Program, offering promising students from low-income families the opportunity to gain valuable real-world skills.

Cohen & Steers worked with the New York Restoration Project to paint, plant and revive a local community garden in the Bronx.
Cohen & Steers collaborates with Dress for Success to empower women to achieve economic independence and enhance their livelihood and well-being.
Cohen & Steers partners with Girls Who Invest, a nonprofit organization that focuses on education, internships, mentoring and community to increase the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership in asset management.

In Europe

During COVID-19, Cohen & Steers partnered with the NHS, the UK’s public health-care system, to help fundraise and support those in need.

Cohen & Steers worked with Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, a leading charity in Ireland dedicated to helping families with seriously ill children receive care at home. Our teams helped fundraise to ensure home nursing care was being delivered despite COVID-19.

In Asia

Cohen & Steers worked closely to help prepare meals with Food Angel, an organization that produces 15,000 nutritious meals free of charge for people who need food assistance.

Our teams partnered on a holiday giving campaign with Ashinaga, an international organization supporting young people who have lost either one or both parents.
Cohen & Steers launched a holiday giving campaign for the Crossroads Foundation, a Hong Kong-based organization that provides global humanitarian aid and helps individuals living in vulnerable circumstances and those affected by major disasters.
Our teams have donated children’s books to two important organizations (reBooked and Box of Hope) that help distribute them to those in need.
