Reena Aggarwal
Reena Aggarwal, a director since November 2016, is the Robert E. McDonough Professor of Finance and Director of the Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. Until July 2020, Dr. Aggarwal was the Vice Provost for Faculty at Georgetown University and has held various positions, including Interim Dean and Deputy Dean of the McDonough School of Business. She has been on Georgetown’s faculty since 1986. Her focus is in the areas of corporate governance, ESG, capital raising, IPOs, institutional investors, private equity, valuation, global financial markets and securities market regulation.
Dr. Aggarwal has received several research awards, including the 2015 BlackRock-National Association of Corporate Directors Global Challenge for Innovation in Corporate Governance Award. Dr. Aggarwal also serves on the boards of directors of Dimensional Fund Advisors’ U.S. mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (five investment companies), where she is a member of the respective audit committees and the nominating committees, and Nuveen Churchill BDC, where she is a member of the audit committee and the nominating committee. She is a former member of the boards of directors of NYLIM IndexIQ and Brightwood Capital Advisors, L.P. She received a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Maryland and a Master of Management Studies from BITS, India.
